first annual invitational invi-tational basket picnic to be held at Hills farm next Sunday leaving the club rooms at 930 oclock a m A I corps of lady members has been busy j gathering a list of names of the clubs I I friends and elaborate invitations have been mailed to 1000 wheelmen and ladies la-dies asking them to join the club on this day All are requested to bring I I baskets well laden with lunch The Raymond coach has been engaged for the transportation of those who cannot I I can-not go awheel and other vehicles provided I I pro-vided for the lunch baskets I is estimated es-timated that no less than 400 riders will be in line and a day of thorough enjoyment is looked forward to and the success of the clubs first effort in this line is unquestioned The camping ground was changed from Greens farm as stated in the I invitations to Hills farm owing to i the lack of accommodations for the I large crowd and also on account of the lesser distance it being 13 miles to the former and only seven to the latter place The growth of the clubs membership member-ship is phenomenal and larger quarters quar-ters will shortly be sought The Friday Fri-day evening socials are in great part the cause of the unusual popularity this year these entertainments alternating alter-nating with card parties vocal and instrumental music dancing and refreshments re-freshments The committees are as
