Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Two Marriages Are Announced Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gale announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Phylis, to Danny Turner, son of Mrs. Wm. McConkie, Mc-Conkie, of Vernal. The couple were married in Nevada on Jan. 15, and will make their home in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Hillery Workman Work-man announce the marriage of their son, Wane, to JoAnn Ward daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Ward, of Marysvale. The young couple were married Saturday, Jan. 13, and are making their home in Bluebell, A large crowd of M.I. A. officers of-ficers went to Boneta Saturday evening to attend M.I. A. convention. con-vention. Hillery Workman left Monday Mon-day for Salt Lake City to visit his mother, Mrs. Workman, who is seriously ill. He returned home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. James Cook returned re-turned last week from a two-week's two-week's visit in Vernal with relatives. rel-atives. Arvil Bird has joined the Navy. He left Monday of last week. Floyd Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman, of Provo, spent the week-end visiting with relatives here and in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gale left Sunday for Salt Lake City. Mr. Gale has employment there. Mrs. Gale returned home Wednesday. Mrs. Isaac Bird left Sunday for Price to visit her daughter, Diantha, who has a new baby. She also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Stansfield. Mrs. Zella Goodrich entertained enter-tained in honor of her daughter, Carolyn,- on her 9th birthday, Jan. 18. The following guests were presentwere present: Chad and Shanna Lee Winkler, June Powell, Janet and Jean Seeley, Michael Lisonbee, Calvin Powell, Pow-ell, Floyd Gale, Ralph Goodrich, Judy Lambert, Carma Atwood, and Carolyn. Lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hancock Han-cock and family, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hancock. |
