Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish -ixr1!11113, Smith was honored Wednesday evening when a jolly crowd of young friends gathered at the Smith home to surprise fter on her birthday anniversary. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. An-tone An-tone Uresk enjoyed a wedding dance at the Oasis Friday evening. eve-ning. The couple, popular members mem-bers of the younger set, were the recipients of many nice gifts presented by their host of friends who came from far and near to extend good wishes. Colin Neilson, of Vernal, was a guest of Robert Sands last week. Colin, who made his home at Arcadia before the family moved to Vernal, had an opportunity oppor-tunity to meet many of his former for-mer schoolmates during his visit here. J. R. Bywater was rushed to the Roosevelt hospital Saturday, suffering with a severe case of pneumonia. At this writing he is greatly improved, although still quite ill. Mr. and Mrs. Mylan Bywater, of Clearfield, and Mr and Mrs. Wilson Bywater, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days here to be with their father. Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Biltz and children, of Union, were weekend week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burton. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bingham spent New Years weekend with relatives in Salt Lake City. Tom Dennis, who has been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis, returned Saturday Satur-day to his home at Logan. Alyce Sands left Saturday for Salt Lake City, where she will enroll as a student at the Hena-ger Hena-ger Business college. Announcement has been received re-ceived of the recent marriage of Miss Joy Olsen, daughter of Mrs. Glen Olsen, qt Heber,' ip "Jay Burgener, of Midway. The young couple will make their home at Midway. The bride made her home in Myton during her early youth and has many friends who will wish her much happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dennis left Sunday for Ft. Collins, Colo., after a brief visit with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis. Den-nis. Mr. Dennis is a student at the Colorado A. & M. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Gillen and small son returned Sunday from a vacation trip to Salt Lake City, where they spent the holidays holi-days with relatives. Mr. Gillen's father was released last week from the Veteran's hospital where he recently underwent an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Campbell Camp-bell and two children came from Morgan Sunday to visit with Mrs. H. L. Bowden, who has been ill for some time. They returned home Tuesday. Margaret Mary Harris, Fran-cis Fran-cis Funk, Fredrlcka Dart, Nancy Todd and John Jennings x left Monday to resume their studies at Wasatch Academy. Keith Peterson returned Sunday Sun-day to Provo, where he is attending at-tending the B.Y.U. Louis Uresk, a .student at the U.S.A.C. at Logan, left Sunday after spending his vacation at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. James, Dglgjeish were guests of Mr, antf ftlf s, R. J. Adams in Roosevelt, Sunday evening, the occasion being Mr. Adams' birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Alvan Pectol and three children left Monday for their home in Klamath, Calif., after spending the holidays here with relatives.
