Show Roosevelt J C C's Elect New Officers At Meeting April 18 Put Over Several Worth While Projects During The Past Year The Roosevelt Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce held its annual election in the City Municipal building Wednesday, April 18 and elected the following members mem-bers for this year: Bennie Sch-miett, Sch-miett, president; Bob Ferron, vice president; Ray Tuttle, secretary sec-retary and Paul Murphy, treasurer. treas-urer. The board of directors are Buzz Larsen, Paul Murphy, Av-ard Av-ard Rigby, Howard Andrews and Bob Ferron. Do Splendid Work The JCC's organization is one of the most active clubs in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. During the past year they have staged several events, dances, danc-es, parties, and boxing cards. Their work projects accomplished accomplish-ed include the sprinkling system at the new hospital, hospital insurance in-surance drive, United War Fund drive, and the Russian clothing drive. They also set up as one of their principal projects for this year, the building of an airport air-port hanger. They have already given one big dance and are now preparing more entertainments to raise money for this project. Installation Party The installation party will be held at the Legion Barracks May 1st, at which time they will have a big banquet and dance. |
