Ren Gardner returned Saturday Satur-day after an extended visit in Payson, Birdseye and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Allred and Mrs. Lewis E. Allred, of Salt Lake City, spent last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Ford and family, of Provo, former residents res-idents of Neola, are here visiting visit-ing friends. Roger Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, is visiting here with his children, Theron, Lavell and Victor and families. He also visited vis-ited in Vernal with his daughters. daugh-ters. Lynn Wall, of Salt Lake City, visited his sister, Mrs. Viola Smithson, one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Horrocks of Santaquin, Utah, were Neola visitors this week. They brought a truck load of fruit into the Basin to sell. Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Clark and family, of Ft. Duchesne, visited vis-ited Wednesday with Mrs. Clark's mother, Mrs. Delia Spencer. Spen-cer. Mrs. Melba Eskund had the misfortune to run a nail Into her foot last week. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Peterson left Wednesday to visit with relatives rel-atives in Evanston, Wyoming. Lionel Jensen spent three days last week in Salt Lake City. Albin Peterson returned to Salt Lake City Tuesday after a week's stay in Neola while disposing dis-posing of his property here. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson are now living liv-ing in Los Angeles. The following school teachers and the hot lunch cooks attended attend-ed an outing in Wolf Creek pass, Friday: Mrs. Mollie Spencer, Lovina Roberts, Lillian Wilker-son, Wilker-son, Palmera Peterson, Zora Gardner, Wanda Riggle, Lecta Horrocks, Thelma McConkie and and Donald Seegmiller. Bishop Jensen took them in one of the school busses. Mrs. Marguerite Dye received word Friday that her son, Adair Baxter, had been seriously injured in-jured in a jeep collision in Hong Koag, China. Adair has been with the Navy for several years. |
