Show Some Terrible Confession. Astoxito, Colo., June 27. The young man who attempted suicide at Lucker & Brady's saw mill, a few miles west of this place last Sunday night. I still refuses to give his name. He gives a new one to everv person who asks it. He is about 25 years old. He made a short confession, in which he said he killed an old man in Texas six years ago; that his sister and mother had persuaded him to commn the deed, in lieu of a debt the old get- tleman owed his mother, which he' declined de-clined to pay; that he had made good his escape from Texas, and made his way to Salt Lrtke, Utah, where he became be-came acquainted with a young ladv bv the name of Morgan. He was engaged to be married to the young lady, but the detectives were after him or lie imagined thev were, ar;d he skipped out to Colorado.' He said Lis sister lived in Texas somewhere, and was married to a man by the name of Stewart. He would only give the names of his sweetheart and sister, and requested that incase he died that his body be sent to his sister sis-ter in Texas, and she would pav all expenses. ex-penses. He claimed he had given his sisters eighty acres of land, worth $(5,00.l, before leaving Texas.
