When weather would permit they have been piloted about our fair city by friends and they are impressed favorably favor-ably with Proyo. This morning nearly all visited the woolen mills. They will, before leaving, visit the asylum and other places of note in the citv. Since last report, J. K. Fowler of Corinne, Grand Junior Deacon; T. 8. Mathis of Salt Lake, Grand Senior Steward, officers of the grand lodge, nave arrived in cue city, as nave aiso John F. Hardie of Salt Lake, Past Master, and Tom D. Pitt of Corinne, Senior Warden, members of the lodge. C. R. Aley of tbis city, M. C. Philips of Argent No. 3 and H. K. Goldberg of Wasatch No. 1, are additional visitors. vis-itors. At the session yesterday afternoon the reports of the accoounting officers were received. These will be published later in special Masonic publications. The lodge of instruction last evening was a highly beneficial one. The Masons were refreshed in the work of their order the same being explained and simplified anew. The brethren were impressed again with the important im-portant and exalted object of'their association. as-sociation. The other officers being appointive will be named at this evening's session ot the grand lodge. The next or twenty-fourth annual communication of the grand lodge will convene at Ogden. |
