Steele, a former resident of this city. Mr. and Mrs. DeLos Adams were honored Thursday evening at a prettily arranged dinner party given by Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Searle at their home. Covers were marked for twenty guests. The dinner was in the form of a farewell party for Mr. and Mrs. Adams, who are leaving today to-day for Los Angeles California, to make their home for an Indefinite period. The G. A. Club was entertained last week by the Mrs. J. Bunton. A parlimentary drill was conducted by Mrs. E. P. Evans and a review of a lecture recently given in Provo by a representative of the Scranton Lace Co. on the "Draping of Windows" was given by Mrs. J. L. Mower. Early in the evening a dainty luncheon was served by the hostess. Mrs. Joseph Walton was hostess Friday afternoon to the Sororsls ladies. Sewing and social chat were the entertaining diversions, after which a tasty repast was served. Special guests Included Mrs. Glen Adamson of Lehl, Mrs. J. Coombs of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Thomas A. Barratt and Mrs. Leonard Chipman of this city. The B. B. Ladies and their husbands hus-bands enjoyed their annual Halloween Hallowe-en party Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Lenard Pett. The entertaining en-tertaining rooms were decorated In Hallowe'en novelties and symbols, and those participating In the gay affair were appropriately costumed. Garnet and music were a feature of ', the evening, followed by a two 1 course luncheon. Among the several charming part- ies of recent date is the Hallowe'en ; social given Saturday evening by the Sororsls ladies at the home of Mrs. Warren C. Boley. The husbands of the club ladies were the guests at the affair, and all who participated were costumed. Autumn flowers in the brilliant seasonal colors were used through the rooms, and Hallowe'en Hallo-we'en novelties served as placecards - a-nfl other appointments. Grant, who has been in the Young Ladies presidency for the past four years. Mrs. Grant was presented with' a beautiful silver roll tray, a gift from the Y. L. M. I. A. in appreciation for her labors with that organization. The entire house was 'decorated in typical Hallowe'en stylo. Tbe basement base-ment was transformed into a devils' haunt, spooks, and other weird images im-ages being used to create the proper effects. The guests, who came in costume, were first taken through the dimly lighted devils' quarters, and later led through tbe upstairs rooms, which were transformed into a cemetery, skeletons, witches, black cats and other Hallowe'en motifs being be-ing employed in the decorative scheme. A hot tray lunch was served at S o'clock, after which games and stunts and a program were features of the evening until 11 o'clock, when the crowd progressed to the Apollo I Hall and enjoyed dancing until midnight mid-night The games were under the direction of the Community Activity committee: commit-tee: Mrs. Mae Greenwood, Mrs. Hannah Aydelotte and Mrs. Naomi Gaisford. Howard Mendenhall was presented with a prize for being the last guest to be identified. were, enjoyed during the evening, followed by a hot lunch served at a late hour. There were thirty present- A clever Hallowe'en party of the week was given Saturday by the P. M. Club at the home of Miss Dorothy Tuttle. The basement of the Tuttle home was the scene for the party, the various rooms being decorated in weird Hallowe'en style. A number num-ber of jolly games were played, after which a luncheon, the menu in suggestive sug-gestive Hallowe'en colors, was served. serv-ed. The club members and their partners were all costumed for the occasion. Those present were: Misses Madoline Bobinson, Dorothy Tuttle, Etta Hatch, Lucile Bird, Mary Walton, Ruth Halstrom, Marjorle Bird, Betty Halstrom, Irene Gid'dings ; Emily Currie, Messrs. R. Gardner,!
