Show Relief Society Flower Show Of Jimp. Stake Gorgeous Affair The finest (lower show ever seen in tii3 ciD' was nut over Thursday by the Relief Societies of the Timpan-cgos Timpan-cgos stake with Mrs. Lavina Fugal chairman, and the following ladies assisting: Mrs. Alary Wadley, Mrs. Thomas Jense, Mrs. Hannah Halliday, Mrs. Luella Thorue, Mrs. Emily Rae, I jliss Rose Harper, Mrs. Minnie Ditt-' Ditt-' more, Mrs. Mabel Johnson, Mrs. Jas. T Wright and Mrs. Jennie V. Johnson. John-son. The High School Gynn where it was held, was beautifully decorated i Tith autumn leaves and .fall flowers J Four long tables were completely covered with flowers, making the large gym a riot of color and 'beauty. One long table held the flowers grown hy the Junior boys and girls from 1 t0 13 years of age, and many fine specimens of every bower variety were evident. The table holding the general display was never better, ijiuch improvement was seen from last year's show. The table containing contain-ing the flowers grown by the aged from 60 years old were among the 'best. One large table contained the flowers of Mrs. Lavina Fugal, Mrs. Annie Dittmore and Mrs. Mabel Johnson. John-son. This contained the most gorgeous exhibition of Dahlias ever produced in this vicinity. Some of the bulbs cost as high as $10.00 each. Mrs. Fugal received first mention, Mrs. Dittmore second and Mrs. Johnson John-son third mention. Mrs. Dittmore also al-so received special mention for her choice basket of roses and for number, num-ber, varieties and excellence of bloom of gladiolias. Special commercial displays by the Humphries Floral Co. ond iby Roh-bock Roh-bock & Sons of American Fork, added much to the wonderful flower display. Humphries Floral had a beautiful corner booth separate from the tables. One huge basket of Chrysanthemums Chrysan-themums was especially outstanding. Their various baskets of roses were perfect In the setting of ferns. The asters displayed by Rohbock & Sons received much comment from both judges and spectators for their beauty ja perfect quality. Mr. Thomas of tie Provo Floral Co., was one of the judges, said that the entire show, was the best community display, he had ver visited and fully equal to many fit the city flower shows.
