A. were the guests Monday night of Mrs. Henry Chlpman and Miss Sarah Earl at the Chlpman home. Mr. and Mrs. William L. Hill of Bingham visited here Wednesday of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Norman A. Wing, and were accompanied back to Bingham by Mrs. John Wing and son, who were their guests until Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin R. Kimball land children of Sandy were guests over last week-end of Mrs. Kimball's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Ashby. A book review was given in the forepart of the evening, followed fol-lowed by the serving of a tasty lunch. Mrs. Ralph Davis and baby daughter daugh-ter of Lehi spent the forepart of the week here visiting with her sister, Mrs. Sherman Robinson. Mrs. Marie Adams and Mrs. Mattie Huggard are enjoying a visit in Los Angeles with their sisters, Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Hohan and Mrs. Nellie Bird. They left here by bus last week. Milton Brown and Howard Pax-man Pax-man left by automobile Thursday of last week for Los Angeles, where they are enjoying a ten days visit with friends and relatives. Miss Betha Starrs, a member of the Les Cecilliennes, social unit of the Brigham Young University, appeared ap-peared with other members of the unit in a musical program presented in the Pleasant Grove Third ward last Sunday night, under the direction direc-tion of Miss Summerhays. B. club and nine other friends. Bridge was the main diversion and late in the afternoon a dainty lunch was served. St. Patrick shamrocks were used in the decorative scheme. The - club members present were Mes-i Mes-i dames Fay Briggs, June Peterson, Mary Humphries, Edith Brown, Mel-ba Mel-ba Hindley and Bernice Adams and the guests were Mesdames Detta Taylor, Myrtle Houston, Ida Devey, Ida Coddington, Mae Bennett, Elva Chadwick, Maurie Robinson, Lorene ' Scott and Lucile Ellison. Sixteen lady friends of Mrs. Thomas Friday were her guests Wednesday afternoon. Games of various kinds were played, Mrs. John H. Miller and Mrs. Roy Steele capturing the prizes.
