Show Verland Johnson Dies At Lindon Home Funeral services for Verland D. Johnson, 31, who died at his home in Lindon Saturday at 3 a.m. were conducted yesterday at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove First ward chapel by Elroy Gillman, bishop, London ward. Verland was born in Pleasant Grove May 10, 1914, a son of Andrew And-rew and Emily Dittmore Johnson. He married Helois Paxman Aug. 30, 1935, in the Logan temple. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. An accountant by occupation, oc-cupation, he was a life-long resident res-ident of Lindon. At the time of his death he was Lindon town board clerk and had served as Lindon LDS ward clerk. He was also a member of the Quorum of Seventy. Surviving are his widow, four children, Roberta, 12; Verland Douglas, 10; Barbara Ellen, 5; and Kathleen, 3; his father, and four brothers and sisters, Oswald Johnson, John-son, Delta; Mrs. Reba Loosli, Ithaca, Ith-aca, N. Y., Mrs. Nina Helf, Ox-nard, Ox-nard, California and Mrs. Ruby Brackett, Three Creek, Idaho. |
