Show Funeral Services Conducted For Hyrum Snider Funeral services were conducted Sunday in the First ward chapel for John Hyrum Snider, 75, who died Thursday at his home here. Mr. Snider came to American Fork 3a years ago and has followed the occupations oc-cupations of bricklayer and farmer. He was bom December 13, 1860, in Salt Lake City, a son of John and Sylvia A. Snider. He married Annie Brown Snider in 1882. Surviving are his widow and the following children: Mrs. Mabel Powell, Levant Mrs. Rebecca Vance, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Marjorie Lay- cock and Mrs. Lulu Laursen, American Ameri-can Pork. Thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also -survive. Councilman Orval C. Mercer was in charge of the services which opened with a mixed chorus smgmg "Shall We Meet Beyond the River". Prayer was offered by Samuel F. Grant. Daxrell Wanlass sang "The Link Divine", accompanied by Lydia Olsen. Remarks were made by Roy Greenwood, Green-wood, Bishop T. A. Greenwood and Ernest J. Seastrand. Milton Brown rendered a violin solo "Londondcry Aire" accompanied on the piano by-Lois by-Lois Greenwood. Rulon Nicholcs :ang "Face to Face" and the closing prayer was offered by Morris Mad-sen. Mad-sen. . .. Interment was made m the American Fork City cemetery where former Bishop James T. Gardner dedicated the grave. |
