Show Mr. and Mrs. James H. Pulley Celebrate Golden Wedding Prominent among social affairs of the week was the celebration given Saturday, October 26, by Mr. and Mrs. James H. Pulley at their home in honor of their golden wedding! anniversary. The entertainment consisted of a sumptuous dinner, a program, music, games and social chat. During the evening, they were presented with a beautiful radio in addition to many lovely personal gifts from their family- The dinner was a feature of the early evening, the guests being seated seat-ed at a prettily decorated table sug. gestive of the event. The place-cards place-cards represented an old fashioned woman and man, in their wedding costumes of a generation ago. The table covering was of imported lace and had as an attractive center piece a golden tinted wedding cake. Gilt tinted candle tapers in golden I holders were placed at each end ol I the table. Mr. and Mrs. Pulley have been blessed with six children, five of whom survive as follows: Mrs. M. 0. Randolph, Mrs. Olive Wanlass of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Albert Birk, L Mrs. Angus Cunningham and Mrs. , Elmo Hunter of this city. In addi-r addi-r tion, sixteen grandchildren and two 7 great-grandchildren survive. |
