Show Anderson-Brown Marriage: Marri-age: Home Reception An interestling social event of the month was the marriage of Miss Ver- da Anderson of Provo and Wallace Brown of this city, which took place Wednesday evening, February 20, at the Brown home in this city. Miss Anderson is the charming daughter of Mrs. Esther Boulton, and Mr. Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin W. Brown. The reception rooms were prettily decorated in an attractive color scheme of red and white, California poppies being used as flower motifs. The ceremony was performed by Bishop T. A. Greenwood of the Third ward in the presence of the members of the immediate families. The young bride was charming in a pink satin crepe dress, and ihe bridesmaid, Miss Ethel Brown, a sister sist-er of the groom, presenled a pretty picture in orchid georgette. Ray Anderson An-derson of Provo aeled as best man. Following the ceremony, a general reception was held for which seventy five invitations were issued. Mr. and Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Iloulter received receiv-ed the gliosis. Games and music were enjoyed, after which a delicious two course luncheon was served. The young couple, who have a host of friends both in American Fork and Provo, are being showered with congratulations con-gratulations and wishes for fuluro success and happiness. They will make their home In this city. |
