The prospective groom is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary He attended at-tended Utah Technical College. He served an LDS Mission to Bogota, Columbia. He graduated horn the Recruit Training Academy in Orange County. He is working as a deputy sheriff for Orange County. He has been a member of the National Ski Patrol and Sundance Ski Patrol. The couple will make their first home in Laguna Hills, Calif. Mrs. Sidney Ryder and Mr. Ralph Lovelace, San Lorenzo, Calif., are pleased to announce the forthcoming for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Patrice, to Jeffrey D. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. David L. Smith, Pleasant Grove. The couple will exchange vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Thursday, Feb. 11. A reception wiJi honor the couple on Saturday, Feb. 13, in San Lorenzo, Calif. Best man duties will be performed per-formed by Jason Smith.
