Show Shelley-Comer Marriage Solemnized In Temple The marriage of Miss Mary Shelley daughter of Mr- and Mrs. Leo T. Shelley, and J. Harold Comer, form-erly form-erly of Lehi, but now of Idaho Falls, was solemnized Monday, September 16, in the Salt Lake Temple. On the following evening, an informal in-formal home reception was given in theiir honor by the bride's parents, for which one hundred and fifty invitations invita-tions were issued to Lehi, American Fork and Salt Lake City relatives and friends. j A profusion of beautiful fall , flowers artistically decorated the re-I re-I ception rooms- President Earl S. Greenwood acted as master of ceremonies during the following interesting program, which ' comprised the evening's entertain. ment: Vocal solo, Mrs. Edith Evans , of Lehi; reading, Bessie Rose of Salt : Lake City; vocal duet, little Misses ! Beth Strong and Gail Shelley; short talk, President C- E. Young; piano solo, Miss Nola Comer of Lehi; reading, read-ing, Mrs. Bert Timpson; vocal solo, Cecil Shaw of Salt .Lake City; remarks, re-marks, Liishop Andrew Fjeld of Lehi; piano solo, Mrs. Wayne Shelley; vocal vo-cal solo, Mrs. Edith G- Young; vocal selections, "Tabby ahd Bun". William Perry of Salt Lake City also furnish-el furnish-el musical entertainment during the evening. Dainty refreshments were served late in the evening. The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shelley, arid Mr. and Mrs. James H. Comer of Lehi, parents of the groom, comprised the reception committee. Mrs. Howard Peterson, Mrs. Ernest Webb anj Miss Loraine Adamson were in charge of the gift room. Mrs. Dee Strong of Magna, Mrs. Wayne Shelley of Bingham Canyon, Mrs. Allen Shelley anl Miss Ruby Steele supervised the refreshments. The young couple will make their future home in Idaho Falls, where Mr. Comer is employed- Best wishes for their happiness and success go with them from their many friends. |
