Show Funeral Services Held Thursday for Maude Adamson Friends and relatives from many parts of Utah and other states gathered Thursday afternoon at the Timpanogos Stake House, to pay last tribute of respect to the memory of Maude Davis Adam-son Adam-son and express love and sympathy f ir her family. The impressive service began at 1 p.m. with Bishop Karl Butler of the Grove Ward presiding. Invocation In-vocation was offered by L. B. Adamson Ad-amson of Lehi, a brother-in-law. A vocal solo, "Going H.:me" was sung by Warren P. Kirk, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Kirk. Speakers were Donna O. Ash and Harold S. Walker. Both paid high tribute to the departed for her sweet and sunny disposition, even in her illness, her love and devotion to her family, her faith in Godi and His ways and her untiring untir-ing service to her church, and also offered words of faith and encouragement encour-agement to the family. Musical numbers were a vocal duet "Hold Thou My Hand" by Mrs. S. W. Hilton and Elwood Allen, Al-len, accompanied by Mrs. Warren Kirk. Closing remarks of appreciation apprecia-tion and encouragement to the family were made by Bishop Butler. But-ler. Prelude and postlude organ music mu-sic was playeid! by Genicl Simper. Prior to the church service, pray- er at the mortuary was offered by Dale H. West, a son-in-law. Benediction was pronounced by T. Ardie Adams, a nephew. Interment, directed by Olpin-Sundberg Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary was made in Pleasant Grove City cemetery whore Harold H. Bullock offered the dedicatoi'ial prayer. Pallbearers, 'all close relatives, were Rex Cummings, Foch Ollivier, Grant Stevenson, Elton Clow, Hal Lindsey, Ray Cummings. Flowers were cared for and! arranged by the Grove Ward Relief Society. Mrs. Adamson died earlier in 'the week at her home of a heart ailment. |
