Show Funeral Services Held Monday for Florence Walker Vory impressive funeral rites were conducted Monday, at 1 p.m. in the Second-Fourth- Ward Chapel, for Florence C. Walker, who died Thursday in a Salt Lake hospital, of a kidney ailment. ail-ment. Relatives and friends gathered gath-ered from far and near to pay last tribute of respect to Mrs. Walker and express sympathy for her family. Family prayer at the home was offered by Joseph S. Walker, a brother-in-law, and prelude and postlude music was played by Mrs. Harold Jacklin. Bishop Gerald T. Belliston of the Fourth Ward presided. Invocation Invoc-ation was offered of Bishop Vil-ace Vil-ace Radmall of the Fifth Ward. A vocal solo, "A Perfect Day" was rendered by LaR.ee Radmall, accompanied by Rosalie Jacklin. Speakers who paid tribute to the memory of the dearly loved mother, and spoke words of consolation con-solation and encouragement to her famiy were Bishop Gerald T. Belliston, Joseph Olpin, of Heber, and Donna O. Ash. Other musical numbers were a vocal solo "In My House Are Many Mansions" by Warren P. Kirk, accompanied by Mrs. Jacklin, Jack-lin, and he closing number by the Fourth Ward Ladies Chorus, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Alice Judd. Benediction was pronounced by J. Reed Peterson. Interment directed by Olpin-Sundberg Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, Ceme-tery, where the dedicatorial prayer pray-er was offered by Wayne E. Chad wick. Pallbearers were Elvin Thorne, Ruben Tomlinson, Lloyd Gray, . Randall Shipley, Arnold Henrich-Ben, Henrich-Ben, Leonard S. Walker. Fourth Ward Relief Society cared for and arranged the flowers. flow-ers. Born Sept. 20, 1897, American Fork, to John and Sarah Williams Will-iams Chadwick. Married Basil Walker June 1, 1917, Salt Lake Temple. He died May 30, 1957. Active in the LDS Church. Survivors: son, daughters, Mrs. Carlile (Leora) Knight, Rex B., Kamas, Summit County; Mrs. Glen (Elna) Jones, Pocatello, Idaho. 12 grandchildren. |
