Show Funeral Friday at 1 P. M. At Lindon for Sarah McConachie Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah McConachie will be conducted Friday, Fri-day, Dec. 29, at 1 p .m. in the Lindon ward chapel, by Bishop Le-Grande Le-Grande Ercanbrack. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Orem, Thursday from 8 until 9 p. m., and at the A. G.. Armstrong home in Lindon Friday until time of the services. Mrs. Armstrong, 79, died Tuesday Tues-day morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. A. G. Armstrong of cerebral hemorrhage. She was born Dec. 7, 1961, in Provo, a daughter of Henry Ald-ous Ald-ous and Mary Smith Dixon. She was educatted in the Proo schools sch-ools and operated a dress making shop until her marriage. , Mrs. McConachie was an active worker in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Relief Society teacher in the Capital Hill ward, and she was also in charge of the work and business classes. She was married Oct. 7, 1898 to Alexander C. McConachie in Provo. Pro-vo. The marriage later was solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake Temple. He died in January of 1938. She was a member of Provo camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Nancy Armstrong, Lindon; one brother of a family of 14 also survives, Arnold Dixon, Provo. |
