Show Funeral Rites Were Held Monday For Bonnie Roulston Impressive funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon in the Second ward chapel for Bonnie C. Roulston who died earlier in the week at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Lue Burnham. The service began at 2 o'clock with Bishop Reed O. Walker in charge. Robert Marrott of the bishopric offered the invocation after which Mrs. J. E. Hardman and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Beers accompanied by Mrs. Howard Nelson sang "In the Garden." Gar-den." Hyrum Johnson of Provo was the first speaker and stressed the thought that those who live in faith and hope are the happiest. Warren Kirk, accompanied by Mrs. Kirk sang "I Know that My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives." Norman Wright, a former school mate of Mrs. Roulson was the next speaker who chose as his text, "Those who die in Him shall not 'taste of death." William C. Smith expressed sympathy for the young husband and other relatives and gave the thought that man are that they might have joy. After colsing remarks of appreciation ap-preciation by Bishop Walker, Mr. Kirk sang the closing number. "Going Home." Benediction was pronounced by Kenneth Van Wagoner and the dedicatory prayer in the Pleasant Grove cemetery was offered by Acel Burnham. Pallbearers were Hyrum Johnson, John-son, Kenneth Van Wagoner, Dale Van Wagoner, Acel Burnham. Robert Rob-ert Jensen and Eugene McGee. Among the out of town relatives who attended the funeral were George R. Roulston of St. Joseph Mo., Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Dirrim of Auburn, California; Mr. and Mrs. Asael Burnham and Wendell and Waldo of Salt Lake City and Mrs. H. L. McGee and Eugene McGee of American Fork. Mrs. John Van Wagoner, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Van Wagoner and Francis L. Murray of Salt Lake City and Hyrum E. Johnson of Provo. |
