Show Funeral Sunday At 2 P. M. For Herman Green Herman Green 69, died suddenly Monday noon, following a heart attack, while he ws sampling beets in the. fields west of American Fork. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P. M. in the Pleasant Grove First WardI chapel with Bishop Junius A. West in charge. Mr. Green was bom April 9, 1S74, at Tleasant Grove, a son of Samuel & Pamelo AYashaw Green. He has always lived in this community, com-munity, having been employed by Utah-Idaho Sugar Co. for the past twenty-two years. He was an active member of the L.D.S. church, being a member of the High Priests quorum at the time of his death. He was president of the Elders Quorum for one year. He was also very much interested in civic affairs, and ser.ved as a member mem-ber of Pleasant Grove City Council Coun-cil for four years. He married Sadie Marrott June 10, 1896, in the Salt Lake Temple. She died July 25, 1914. Four child ren from this marriage survive: Roy Green, Rexburg, Idaho; Archie Arch-ie Green and Mrs. Hazel McCand-lass, McCand-lass, Pleasant Grove, and Milton Green of Lehi. He married Maude Larson in the Salt Lake Temple, July 19, 191S. Mrs. Green and the following children survive: Sergeant Ser-geant Russell Green of the U. S. army, Mrs. Louise Harris, Vance and Lela Green, of Pleasant Grove, and Nile Green of the U. S. Navy. Also 17 grand children and one great grand child surwive. One . ., , sister Mrs. Elylen Richins of Pleasant Grove and one brother, Joseph F. Green of Salt Lake City also survive. Friends my call at the Olpin Bros. Mortuary Saturday, and at the family homef rom 10 A. M. Sundy until time of the services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
