Miss Dawn Marie Adams, accompanied by Miss Zoe Adams, played a viloin solo "The Old Refrain" Re-frain" by Kreiler. Mrs. Margaret Devereaux sang a vocal solo, "Loves Old 1 Sweet Song." She was accompanied by Mrs. Sarah Clark. "Biddy's Trials Among The Yankees" was read by Mrs. Ora Thome, Mrs. Sarah Clark gave a reading "Speaking of Opertions." A second violin number "Reverie" "Rev-erie" was played by Miss Adams. The group then returned to the Relief Society room, where lunch-en lunch-en was served at long tables, centered cen-tered with low bowls of georgeous summer roses, where tributes of respects wer6 paid to the outgoing and incoming officers, and the retiring re-tiring officers were each presented presen-ted with a beautiful gift. Retiring officers honored were Mrs. Zellla Peay, Mrs. Hannah Hallday, and" Mrs. Laura Robertson. Robert-son. New officers:. Laura Robertson, Robert-son, president', Rose Hillman and Thelma Marrott counselors. Sunshine committe in charge of the program: Mrs. Martha Peterson, Peter-son, Mrs. Margaret Dexter, and Mrs. Florence C. Walker. Luncheon committee: Mrs. Vera Mathews, chairnma, Mrs. Thelma Marrott, Mrs. Pearl McMillen, Msr. Ora Thorne. |
