Show Funeral Services Held Here For Mrs. Barkdull Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon for Mrs. J. E. Barkdull who died Saturday after a lingering illness of pleurisy. Mrs. Barkdull was born October 5, 1882, in Wyoming, the daughter of Orvil and Sarah Rawsonchild. The family moved to American Fork six years ago from Springville. They made their home in Highland later movine to this citv. Surviving are her husband, E. J. Barkdull, and the following sons and daughters: . Mrs. Clco Branson, Cokeville, Wyoming; Lynn Hoops, Fairview, Wyoming; LaThare Hoops, South Fork, California; Roy Hoops, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Grace Hard-man, Hard-man, Marrion Hoops and Cora Hoops of this city; children of a former marriage, and LoRene, LaRue and Edward Barkdull of American Fork. Eighteen grandchildren also survive. Bishop T. A. Greenwood of the First ward was in charge of the services held at 4 p. m. at the Anderson An-derson Brothers Morturary. "Jesus My Savior" was beautifully sung by a mixed quartet from the First ward. Prayer was offered by Stephen F. j Beck of Highland. Bishop Harry 'jerling of the Highland ward was j the first speaker followed by John The quartet sang 'My Father Knows' j and the benediction was pronounced l by Jay Gorden of Highland. The body was taken to Fairview Wyoming, for interment. |
