Tabernacle Friday, March S, at 2 p. ni. Counselor E. J. Seastrand of the First ward was in charge. The opening musical selection was "Come Unto Me" beautifully sung by the First ward double quartet. Wm. S. Itobinson offered the invocation.! "Rock of Ages" was next sung by the First ward choir. The speakers were Bishop James T. Gardner, Attorney General George P. Parker of Salt Lake City, W. S. Chipman of the American Fork Second Sec-ond ward and John E. Singleton of Ogden, a relative of the , deceased. Each of them conveyed words of con-solement con-solement to the bereaved family. Interspersing the speakers, Mrs. Edith G. Young sang a vocal solo "In the Land of Fadeless Day" and Rulon Kicholes sans: a solo. Mrs. Marv Humphries accompanied the vocalists at the piano. The closing song was by the double quartet "Like As A Father", after which John H. Davis pronounced pronounc-ed the benediction. Interment was made in the city cemetery, where Bishop T. A. Greenwood Green-wood dedicated the grave. The floral offerings, which were profuse and most beautiful, completely complete-ly covered the rostrum and casket. . n |
