He was born Jan. 10, 1967 in Alexandria, La., to Gary L. and Sonja Pierson Woodruff. He was a student at the American Fork Training School. He was an active member of the LDS Church. She was born Aug. 27, 1935 in Salt Lake City to Charles C. and Ada Iola Sorensen Jenson. On Sept. 14, 1968 she married Rodney William Buterfield in Elko, Nev. She was a Duncan certified teacher, operated her own retail ceramic business. She was also a countrywestern coun-trywestern entertainer who had her own group touring Salt Lake County and the Western states. She is survived by her husband, South Jordan; children, Darrel Hatch and Charla J. Hatch, both Riverton; step children, Mrs. Jim (Teri) Potter, Virginia; Mrs. Don (Debby) Mackay, California; Scott Butterfield, Salt Tom McCoy officiating. The family prayer was offered by Kalvin Thurston and Evelyn Perry played the prelude and postlude. Kathy Rich Smith san "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." Stewart Cosgrave offered the family prayer. Speakers included in-cluded Bishop Dale Rindlisbacher, Margaret Marga-ret Thurston and Bishop McCoy. George Best played a guitar medley. The benediction was offered by Gary Cosgrove. Bishop McCoy dedicated the grave site in the Riverton City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Darrel Hatch, Jim Butterfield, Clint Davis, Kalvin Thurston, Scott Butterfield and Allen Butterfield. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Davis and Brad Butterfield. Jeanette Cloward, 18, died Dec. 11, 1987 in Provo. She was born March 27, 1969 in Provo to Brent B. and Karen Moore Cloward. She was a graduate of American Fork High School, where she was active in the DECA Club. She was attending Utah Valley Community Com-munity College in the nursing program. She was a member of the American Fork 13th Ward and had held many positions. Survivors include her parents of American Fork; two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Kirtt (Lisa) Myers, Delta; Keri Lyn and Russell Steven, both of American Fork; grandparents: Beryld-ean Beryld-ean and June Cloward, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Ray (Dorothy Moore) Christopherson of Spring Lake; one f Speakers included Steven P. Cloward, Bob !Horton and Bishop Edwards. Musical numbers included "Because I 1 Have Been Given Much" by Collette I Devey; "Long and 1 Lasting Love"; and , "The Lord's Prayer" by I Bill Cloward. Dean I Thomas offered the benediction. Kirtt M. Myers dedicated the grave in the Salem City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Craig Jex, Joe Jex, Danny Cloward, Dean Cloward, Steven W. Carter and Gary N. Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Blake Myers, Trent Carter, Weston Carter, Preston Jex, John Parley Cloward, Nathan Cloward, Brian Cloward and Elder David Cloward. Lake City; 10 grandchildren; grand-children; sisters and brother, Mrs. Dale (Naome) DeVolt, Ogden; Mrs. Bob (Norine) Johnson, Mrs. David (Francis) Watson, Kalvin Thurston and his wife Margaret; Mrs. Bill (Glenda) Perry, all American Fork. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. in the South Jordan 19th LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop nephew, Blake Myers. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, grand-father, Reed N. Moore. Services were held Monday, Dec. 14, in the American Fork 13th Ward Chapel, with Bishop Jerry Edwards conducting. Bishop Charles LeBaron offered of-fered the family prayer. Prelude and postlude were played by Nancy Haddock. Richard T. Cloward offered the invocation. Grant A. Adamson Albert E. Sutch i ffr i, Grant Allen Adam-son, Adam-son, 66, of Pleasant Grove, died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Dec. 9, 1987 at home of a long illness. He was born Sept. 14, 1921 in Heber City to Byron W. and Maude Davis Adamson. He married Anna Boren Feb. 24, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He received his education in Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School and military schools and served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a licensed pilot and an avid sportsman. He was a member of the LDS Church, was a High Priest in the Pleasant Grove 5th Ward and had served as ward clerk in three bishoprics. He was an operator in the Operating Engineers Union and was an inspector at Geneva Steel's Rolling Mill, where he was employed for 37 years. After his retirement, he worked as a bus driver for Alpine School District. Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; five sons: Allen G. Adamson, Sandy; Larry B Adamson, Darryl D. Adamson, Kelvin B. Adamson and Jay D. Adamson, all Pleasant Grove; 19 grandchildren; one great grandchild ; two brothers and three sisters: Mrs. Dale H. (Mariam) West, Provo; Boyd W. Adamson, Orem; Arlen R. Adamson, American Fork; Mrs. Leo H. (Virginia) Ault and Mrs. O. Keith (Janice) Brown, both Pleasant Grove. He was preceded in death by one brother, Nyle Adamson, and a grandson, Byron. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 12, in the Pleasant Grove 5th Ward. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, where full military rites were accorded by District No. 4 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. operator at U.S. Steel prior to his retirement. Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; a daughter, Ada Rae Nusink, Okinawa, Japan; one grandchild; two brothers: Christopher Richard Sutch and LeMar Sutch, both of Orem. Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Albert Ernest Sutch, 76, of Pleasant Grove, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1987 at his home of cancer. He was born Oct. 17, 1911 in Castle Gate to Oliver and Ada Ager Sutch. He married Donna Warden on Sept. 2, 1950 in Pleasant Grove. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the masons and a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army.
