Show Clarence W. Shelton Clarence William Shelton died Dec. 12, 1986 in Henderson, Nevada. He was born July 28, 1913 in Kaysville, Utah to Stephen B. and Lucy Wardle Shelton. He married Eileen Phillips Feb. 23, 1939. He was a retired civil engineer and an active member of the Black Mountain Golf and Country Club of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nevada. He is survived by his wife of Las Vegas, Nevada, four sons, James R. Shelton, American Fork; William L. Shelton, Farmington; Stephen B. Shelton, Kent, Washington; Richard K. Shelton, Salt Lake City, 13 grandchildren, 8 eight grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m. in the American Fork City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Frances G. Trinnaman Frances Duffield Gilbert Trinnaman, 74, Lehi, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 1986, of cancer at Fort Collins, Colo. She was born Nov. 27, 1912 in Lehi to Charles Francis and Sarah Yates Gilbert. She married Homer James Trinnaman Jan. 25, 1941 in Price. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in all of the organizations. Higginson Services were held Dec. 12 at the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi, with Bishop Bert Alexander officiating. Betty Johnson performed per-formed the prelude and postlude. The family prayer was given by Kevin B. Young. Bart Watts offered the invocation. Speakers included Mark Adamson, Bishop Pete Ellison and Bishop Alexander. Two vocal solos were performed by Sharon Brinton, "Each Life that Touches Ours for Good" and "I Am a Daughter of God," both accompanied by Barbara Bar-bara Westenskow. The benediction was given by Drew B. Oliphant. Richard A. Watts dedicated the gravesite at the Lehi City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert R. Larson, David B. Oliphant, Bart Watts, David B. Oliphant, Jr., Drew B. Oliphant and Duane B. Oliphant. DeMine Thank You My bride, our beloved mother and grandmother, grand-mother, our Heavenly Connection, Thelma j Gurr Higginson, passed away Dec. 9, 1986 at the , home of her daughter in i West Valley City, Utah surrounded by her beloved family. She was born Jan. 20, 1921, in Provo to Wilford Marsh and Leth Edwards Ed-wards Gurr. She married Clyde Taylor Higginson Nov. 11, 1942, at McCarran (Nellis) Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nev. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church and served positions in the , Primary, Sunday School. " and Scouting organizations. She was also called as a temple worker and served in the Provo Temple. She and her husband were called to serve a mission to Baton Rouge, La., but due to her health they were unable to fulfill that great calling. Survivors include her husband of Pleasant Grove; three sons and four daughters: Sherry Jensen, Midvale; Linda Perkings, Idaho Falls; Steven C. Higginson, I American Fork; Rosemary Yates, Warrenton, Va.; Debra Barton, West Valley City; DelRay Higginson, Higgin-son, Orem; Kraig T. Higginson, Provo; one foster daughter and one foster son: Debbie Gibson, West Valley City; and Gordon Farnsworth, St. George; 47 ... grandchildren, grand-children, four greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Wilford Marsh (Bud) Gurr, serving an LDS mission in Hawaii; Ray Dean Gurr, Provo; and Mary Lou Asay, Pleasant Grove. The funeral services were under the direction of Bishop Robert Aland of the Pleasant Grove Third Ward. Pallbearers were Steven Higginson, DelRay Higginson, Kraig Higginson, f Richard Jensen, Jon I Perkins, Jim Yates, and I Robert Barton. Honorary pallbearers 1 were Mike Jensen, I Darren Jensen, Mark Taylor Jensen, Troy Jensen, Brad Perkins, Steven C. Higginson II, Jeffrey K. Higginson . and Justin Robert Barton. The family prayer was by Kraig Higginson. Higgin-son. Rosa Mae Gurr played the prelude and postlude. The invocation was by Steven C. Higginson. Nancy Ekins sang "How Great Thou Art." Verleen Sullivan gave the life sketch. Elder Wilford M. Gurr was a speaker. Nancy Ekins sang "Love One Another" and Lewis Munk was a speaker. Karen Asay sang "In the Garden." Sharon (Sherry) Jensen gave "We Remember Mama." Remarks were given by Bishop Aland. The grandchldren sang "You Are My Sunshine" and "I Am a Child of God." The benediction was by L. Cyril Higginson.
