Show Funeral Services Set for Bryan Roberts Friday at 12 Noon in Sixth Ward Bryan Roberts, 72, Pleasant Grove, died Monday at the University Uni-versity Hospital in Salt Lake City, following a long illness.. Funeral services have been set for Friday at 12 noon in the Third-Sixth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Family Mortuary Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to the services. Mr. Roberts was born April 8, 1898 in Joseph, Sevier Co., to Thomas and Meetta Brown Roberts. He married Laura Ethlyn Taylor April 3, 1919 in Vernal, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been a farmer and a carpenter. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, in the Sixth Ward. Surviving are his widow, two sons and six daughters, Earl, Pleasant Grove; Marvin, Lin-don; Lin-don; Mrs. William (Verda) Blanchard, Roosevelt; Mrs. El-vin El-vin (Pearl) Jones, Marysville, Calif.; Mrs. Monte (Leora) Hampton, Lehi; Mrs. Blaine (Meetta) Young, Dugway, Ut; Mrs. Richard ( Donne tta) Ferguson, Ferg-uson, Orem; Mrs. Richard (Jane) Fillmore, Salt Lake City and 35 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Five brothers bro-thers and one sister also survive. sur-vive. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Ctiy Cemetery. |
