Show I 3 n nr, Mrs. I Bates, Reporter. i ' i Mr. and Mrs. Ray Strong and ; children returned home last week j from a visit of several weeks with Mrs. Strong's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Merrill, at San Francisco. Mrs. Russell Bates entertained the J Happy Dozen at her home Wednesday afternoon. The usual activities were enjoyed, after -which a dainty lunch was served. Miss Thelma Whitby, who is teaching teach-ing school in Lehi, spent the weekend week-end with her grandmother, Mrs. Mary E. Little. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Terry and children, Mrs. Pheobe Wilson and daughter, and Mrs. A. H. Brown and baby, and Iris Bates were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harris at Lindon. Mr. and Mrs. Loy Beck were visitors visi-tors at the capitol City Tuesday and Wednesday. The Junior girls of the M. I. A. enjoyed en-joyed a candy pull at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Leon J. Strong, Wednesday evening. Mrs. Leonard Bates entertained twenty of the little friends of her daughter, Iris, Wednesday afternoon in honor of her seventh birthday. Games were enjoyed, after which lunch was served. The annual. Old Folks entertainment entertain-ment was held in the gymnasium, Friday, February 22, commencing with dinner at 12 o'clock. The afternoon after-noon was spent with a program and social chat, after which, the guests were served with a luncheon. A dance in the evening wa3 a final feature of the day's entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Omer E. Hall and daughter, Vonda, were Saturday visitors a the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dames C. Healey. o |
