Please, may I use the columns of the Park City Coalition and the Park Record for an important to the best thank you hometown a feller ever had? The southwest regional conference of Alpha Delta Kappa, international the honorary sorority for women educators, has ended. Delegates (July from seven western states and dignitaries from the international 7-1- 1) organization have returned home which includes almost every state of the union. In most cases, those at the con- vention considered it the hapd piest, most successful, and friendliest convention in the organizations history. They were thrilled with the town and its people. Particularly, they were pleased with the treatment from those who served them. A whole lotsa businesses and a great big passle of people deserve a bunch of THANX. As conventional host chairman, my wife Helen wanted to write this thank you but I begged her to let me have the privilege. After all, Im the fat feller that grew up here, and these are MY people... so, here goes... Thank you Park City Coalition and Park Record for your fine articles letting folks know we were coming. We fun-fille- pre-conventi- on appreciate the coverage-excell- ent! Thank you, Park City Resort, acexcellent for the commodations. The women raved about the condos and the to service, too.
