Marsacs distinction in this field is proof of the excellent P.E. program being conducted at all levels in the elementary school. Background Aerobic, Circuit, or Interval Training are the basic ideas Fitness behind Physical programs. They provide some of the most efficient methods in developing fitness and stamina. These types of exercising are concerned with cardiovascular, respiratory, and muscular fitness, whereas in the past, most exercising was concerned only with muscular fitness. The history of this theory goes back to 1956 when studies showed how physically unfit Americans were. In other words, students are compared to other students of the same height, weight, and age, on national norms. The children are thus taught to see themselves as they actually are.
