This jackpot is the first of its kind for the posse. Kyle McEntire, the posse Captain and All Around Cowboy, is hoping that along with earning some money for the posse, that an Ogden Valley tradition could be in the making. They would love to see a lot of people participate in the three different age categories; Jr. Youth - 11 and under; Youth - 12-15; and Open - 16 and older. With these divisions, it will make it more fair for the younger rider, so they will not have to compete against an adult. Barrels, Poles, and Weber County Keyhole will be the featured events. The entry fee will be $2.00 per event. The posse will jackpot 50% of the entry fee, with the remaining 50% going to the posse fund. The posse fund helps with purchasing team shirts and awards for the members. “We would like to be successful enough that we can make this an annual event.” stated Kyle McEntire. “The Eden arena has great ground and the Ogden Valley has some of the best cowboys and cowgirls around!” For more information, please call Kyle McEntire 745-3711.
