Abbie Rasmussen of Eden will perform in Ballet West’s The Nutcracker at the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake City December 9 through December 14. She is the trumpeter, which is the lead role of the blue sole trumpeter spends most of the time on stage beside the nutcracker as the soldiers fight the mice. Abbie’s parents state, “Abbie loves to perform and her goal is to be a professional ballerina someday. She has been dancing since she was three years old.” Chelsea Keefer 1, 2004 Coldwell Banker is accepting donations of nonperishable food for the Utah Food Bank. Abbie says, “I don’t mind. I just love to ance!” Abbie is a seventh grader at Snowcest Junior High, and is the daughter of Peter and Lisa Rasmussen.
