Show THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Volume V, Issue V Page 13 December 15, 2001 Halloween Around the Valley “Spooky” Fun at South Fork Garden Center The South Fork Garden Center held a Halloween Carnival this fall. About 30 children participated in the Apple Bobbing, Hoola Hoop, Bubble Gum Blowing, and Costume Contests. There were also pumpkins for carving and painting. All contestants were awarded prizes in various categories. Children also enjoyed listening to their favorite Halloween tales related by the demonstrative storyteller Brenda Murray. The Haunted Gardens Spook Alley ran for two weeks on Fridays and Saturdays in the last half of October. Screams could be heard as over a hundred adventurous “victims” walked and ran through the spooky graveyard and maze. The fun and screams at South Fork Garden Center are sure to become an anticipated Halloween tradition in Ogden Valley. The princesses at the Old Firehouse Child Care in Eden hold court.
