Fierce, present and manager of the company, t la ted this afternoon that the busiest time of the season will occur next week and that whe 75 employes are bein ued at present, pres-ent, the number will be iuereas.-d to HiO next week and that It will be necessary to work tin hours per day In order to handle the fruit. This week the factory Is working eight I hours iter day. In addition to a million cans of tomatoes, to-matoes, the company expects to prepare pre-pare as many more cans of tomato soup, hominy and pork and beans. There also will be an unusually large quantity of catsup lottled this year by (he Utah Canning company. The new etoam method of cleaning the tomatoes, which was Installed this year, makes the canning process now usel the most sanitary that it is possible to obtain. The fruit Is scarcely touched by hand from the vine to the can and no speck of decay de-cay or blight ever finds its way Into the finished product. Persons who have watched tho canning proce?s say that It would be impossible for the fruit to he put r.p in the most core-ful core-ful kitchen with greater cleanliness. |
