Show OBSERVING LINCOLN'S BIRTH This Is the anniversary of Abraham Abra-ham Lincoln's birth, aud it is being duly observed by the people of Ogden. Every pbllc ofllce in the city la closed and the national hanks are Inoperative. Inopera-tive. Employes of these places and citizens in general are spending the day in festivities and rest Tho Lincoln Circle of the Grand Army is entertaining the members of the DIx-Logan Post this afternoon at the residence of Comrade W. L. Russell, Rus-sell, 2120 Lincoln avenue. Aside from a delicious luncheeon that Is being served, n program of music, songs and recitations Ik being carried out Tho festivities began at 3 o'clock this aft ernoon and will not be concluded until late this evening After the regular reg-ular program has been given and luncheon served the boys of the Civil War, with their wives and friends, will pass the time In recounting olden times and rehearsing remlnlsconcoa of war limes.
