Show Amaiga Studies Water Problem The Cache county commission Wednesday pledged assistance to the town of Amaiga for enlarging their culinary water reservoir to meet increased demands caused by location of the county farm labor oamp in that community, Clerk N. J. Crookston reported. When the camp site was selected early this spring, the commissioners commission-ers made arrangements to secure culinary water supplies for the camp from the Amaiga system, Mr. Crookston explained. Unusually Unusual-ly heavy demands have caused the system to go practically dry about 4:30 p. m. each. day. He said plenty of water is available, avail-able, but the storage capacity of the reservoir is not great enough to meet the daily draw. Work on improvement of the reservoir will get underway immediately. The commissioners also awarded award-ed contracts for printing all legal notices to the Herald-Journal and the delinquent tax list to the Cache American. |
