Show With tires in the condition they are right now, it is well that the OPA has seen fit to place dollar-and-cent ceiling prices on tire and tube repairs. The prices are the same all over the nation, so no matter where you go, don't pay more than the top legal price. The sectional or re-enforcement repairs on passenger tires, size 6.00, cost $3.50. Spot repairs will cost you $1.50. A puncher in a 7.00 diameter, or smaller, tube costs 50 cents for the first and 25 cents for each additional repair. Repairs on tubes 7.00 diameter or over will cost $1.00 for the first, and 50 cents for each additional repair. The . amendment covering the ceiling prices for tire and tube repairs went into effect May 1. |
