Show Lyman Rich Shows Value of Various Feeds G. J. Baker, Cornish, and H. F. Bernhisel, Lewiston, were elected elect-ed for a two year term on the board of directors of the Lewis-ton-Cornish cow testing association associa-tion at their annual meeting last Friday. For the year 1941 Mr. Baker was named president, Philip Phil-ip Bergeson, vice president, and Mr. Bernhisel, secretary. Mr. Ber-i Ber-i geson, H. C. Pitcher, and H. M. Spackman, of Lewiston, were elected elect-ed for a one-year term as members mem-bers of the board. A large representation of the association membership was in attendance to see a picture - and hear a discussion which em- phasized testing and breeding giv-1 en by Lyman Ilich, extension spe- cialist. The value of various feeds in the dairy ration and the value of pasture in economical dairy production were discussed by Geo. Q. Bateman, of the experiment station. Those present showed enthusiasm enthus-iasm for cow testing work and were interested in carrying on with a large membership. Eighty members and over 800 cows are in the Lewiston-Cornish association associa-tion at present. A new years work will begin on March 1st. |
