Show IMPRESSIVE RITES KELD FOR HENRY ELZ0 ATilAY Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the second ward chapel for Henry Elzo Ath-ay, Ath-ay, with Bishop W. A. Hansen conducting. The ward choir was under the direction of Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Richardson with Miss Hla I Richardson at the organ. The I speakers who eulogized the life and character of Mr. Athay were: President A. -W. Chambers. Heber Whiting, and Bishop G. L. Recs. Special musical numbers were vocal vo-cal solo, Mrs. Clyde Littledyke; vocal duet. Rebecca and Florence Lewis, Richmond; vocal solo, Bishop Fred Baugh of Logan. Vocal Vo-cal duet. Mrs. George Hanson and Marion Richardson, and a vocal solo. Mrs. Annie Brian of 0den. The opening prayer was offered by John H. Peterson and the closing prayer by Bishop Sylvester Syl-vester Low. The large display of flowers were in charge of friends of the family. Henry Elzo Athay, 50, Smith-field Smith-field businessman, died at his home Friday after a long rl -neS He had suffered a paralytic stroke ten years ago and had been in ill health since. Mr Ahtay was a service station nroorietor and was active in Eh affairs until his illness. C.L ion to 1913 he fulfilled a Sm in England for the LDS church. At the time of his deat he was an elder in the Smithfield in Mah' April W, 1890, a son of Henry and Ellen Price Athay. He married Asides his widow he is surviv- of Montpelier, Idaho. |
