Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS. In a letter just received from A. W. Proctor of Stirling, Alta, Canada, he states that they are having fine fall weather up there and so far have only had one squall or snow storm. Mr. Proctor was a former resident of Mount Pleasant and his sympathies are extended to the community on account of the Spanish Influenza epidemic. So far they have only had one case of Spanish Influenza at Stirling. Every thing is very quiet and most everyone stays close at home. Mr. Proctor is an industrious in-dustrious farmer. Mr. and Mrs. Obed A. Nelson are having the finishing touches put on their beautiful little home'next to the new home of Fred Rasmussen on lower Main Street. It is an attractive attract-ive home which adds much to that part of the city. Mrs. L. P. Madsen is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. John Mower, at Ogden. She has been ther during th past two weeks. Bishop J. B. Seely of Ephraim passed pas-sed through the valley Monday on his way to Price. About four, inches of snow fell In the valley this Friday morning. |
