Show FREEDOM. John Randall Draper, 2 0 years of age, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Dra"per, died of pneumonia superinduced superin-duced by Spanish Influenza, Friday, November 15th, at a Logan hospital. He was attending the military training train-ing school at the Utah Agricultural College. Cecil Livingstone, one of Freedom's soldier boys, accompanied the body home. Burial took place at the Freedom cemetery on Wednesday, November 2 0. Bishop Bradley and councilor, Jabez Faux, of Moroni offered of-fered some consoling remarks. Clara Larsen, Edna Hardy and Gladys Stark of Moroni beautifully sang "Rock of Ages" and "Shall We Meet Beyond The River." Ephraim Nelson dedicated dedi-cated the grave. Randall was a bright young man. He was always willing to help serve his country. Many friends join his parents in mourning for him. He is survived by his father and mother, five brothers and three sisters. His sisters and brothers are Mrs. Joseph P. Jensen of Fountain Green, Mrs. Ray Livingstone of Cedar Cliff, and Delta Draper, Menals Draper, Dra-per, Dorsy Draper, Call Draper, Sharp Draper and Woodrow Draper. Dorsey Draper is home from Camp Kearny to attend his brother Randall's Ran-dall's funeral. He has a ten day furlough. fur-lough. Word has been received from Loren E. Taylor stating that he is on his way from Camp Fremont, Cal. to Siberia. The family of Ira Despain have all recovered from Spanish Influenza. Word is received from California that Jesse Taylor, oldest son of Bud Taylor, has died of Influenza. Alden R. Taylor is slowly recovering re-covering from Influenza and pneumonia. |
