Show Geniel Peterson Is Wed; Reception Tonight At 8 A wedding reception, honoring a bride and groom, members 01 prominent North Sanpete.- families, fam-ilies, will be held this evening (Friday) at 8 p. m. at the South Ward chapel lor Mr. and Mis. E. Bert hell Howell. The lovely bride, who before her marriage yesterday at the Manti Temple was Miss Jeniei Peterson, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jewell M. Peterson 01 Mt. Pleasant. The groom is a son of Mrs. Sylvanus Howell of Fairview. The couple were married Thursday forenoon by L. K. Anderson, An-derson, president of the Manti temple. Attending the bride at this evening's reception will be her sister, Gwen, as maid of honor. Lola Brady of Fairview and Carol Greaves of Preston, Idaho, will serve as bridesmaids. The bride will wear a wedding gown of brocaded satin v.ith a fingertip veil and in her hail she will wear a seed pearl tiara. The maid of honor and bridesmaids brides-maids will wear gowns of pink. Melvin Brady . of Fairview will be best man and ushers will be Lloyd Peterson of Mt. Pleas ant and Demont and Kenneth Howell of Fairview. The reception will include a program to be followed by .a dance. Mrs. F. D. Peterson will serve as mistress of ceremonies. The young couple will residi at Salt Lake where the groom is employed and the bride is a student at the University o; Utah. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega, a social sorority, and Omicron Nu and Lambda Delta Sigma, honoraries. Both Mr. and Mrs. Howell arc-graduates arc-graduates of North Sanpete high school. Mr. Howell is a forme-student forme-student at the USAC at Logan. |
