Two Weddings Highlight ( Moroni Social Scene A lovely wedding reception In i honor of newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bailey, was given at the Olde Bungalow Monday ; evening with Clifford S. Black-ham Black-ham acting as master of cere-monies. cere-monies. I The bride Is the former Jewel Bruno, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bruno. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bailey. Light refreshments were served and the evening was concluded con-cluded with dancing with music mu-sic by the Revelers. The young couple received many beautiful and useful gifts and they plan to live in Moroni. Mo-roni. Mr. and Mrs. James Everltt announce the marriage of their daughter June to Ralph Lund of Ephraim on June 12 in Salt Lake City. A shower was given in their honor on June 25th In the East ward chapel with Edna Larson in charge of the same. The delightful de-lightful program was enjoyed very much after which dc-licious refreshments were served. The young couple received many beautiful and useful gifts. They plan to make their home in Ephraim. The Junior Sorosls Club members mem-bers and their husbands enjoyed en-joyed a skating party Thursday night at the Olde Bungalow where refreshments were served to the following: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tidwell, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Mor-gan Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Urwin Morley, Mr. and Mrs. George Faux, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Seeley of Mt. Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Revlll, Mr. and Mrs. Dermont Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kelson, Mr. and Mrs. Ford Faux, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Lay. I Last Saturday night Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gunn, Clarice, Nor-ine Nor-ine and Mrs. Grace Gunn returned re-turned from a three week trip to Illinois. In Tipton, Iowa, they saw Miss Margery Frink, a former teacher at Wasatch Academy. They enjoyed the Lake-of-the-Ozarks country in Missouri; and in Kansas they visited briefly with Mr. John Haberbosch, one-time teacher at Wasatch Academy, who is now superintendent of schools' at Cherryvale. In August the Haberbosch Ha-berbosch family will visit the Gunns. Another former teacher at Wasatch Academy, Miss Ethel Trowbridge, gave them a very pleasant day in Colorado Springs. O. Fogelberg and the family. Later their mother, Mrs. Elmer McElhannon, and other two children will join them. Last week Mrs. J. D. Allen of Mill Valley, California, who, with her family, is spending some time with relatives in Salt Lake city, visited the F. O. Fogelberg Fog-elberg family for several days. Mrs. Allen is the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Fogelberg. |
