Show Mrs. Strong Dies of Sudden Heart Attack Impressive and largely attended funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 12 o'clock noon from the South ward chapel for Mrs. Charlotte (Lottie) McNeil Strong, wife of J. Lynn Strong, who died Monday from heart failure. Bishop A. L. Peterson conducted the services. Andrew Larsen offered offer-ed the opening prayer. Music was by the choir under direction ol Mrs. R. D. Jones; vocal solo, Mrs. Grant Olson; cello solo, Roy F. Millett. The speakers weie A. H. Anderson and C. W. Sorenson. The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful and were cared for by the Acme Literary club and telephone operators. Members of the Lions club were pallbearers. The body was taken to Provo for interment by the Hansen Mortuary Mor-tuary Company. Mrs. Charlotte (Lottie) McNeil Strong, 36. wife of J. Lynn Strong, local manager of the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph company, died Monday morning at the family residence from heart failure, following childbirth. She had, however, been in ill health for some time. Mrs. Strong was born in American Amer-ican Fork December 10, 1895, a daughter of John and Alice Mc-neil. Mc-neil. She was married in Salt Lake September 11, 1915. They have resided here two years, coming com-ing here from Vernal. She was an active club worked and was a member of the Acme Literary club at the time of her death. She served for many years as a telephone operator in Schofield and other Carbon County cities. She served as a Primary worker for ten years. One child, a baby daughter, preceded pre-ceded her in death. She is survived by her father and two sisters: Mrs. Geneve Yates and Mrs. Vanda Shafer, all of Salt Lake; her husband, son, Max Strong, and the infant daughter, Mt. Pleasant; her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dean of American Fork. |
