Clyn Bishop, who is attendeng the USAC at Logan, visited in Sutherland with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bishop. Clyn also "attended "at-tended the Sutherland Ward MIA Gold and Green ball on Saturday night. Miss Virginia Dearlnger from Provo visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter, over the weekend. Marlon Steele spent a few days last week with the Doyle Steeles. Mrs. Tillman Twitchell is staying stay-ing a few days with her children Mr. and M-s. Robert Webb. There's another proud driver of a lovely new car. Mr. William Bunker comes out in a Lincoln, which could be envied by many. Miss Jonn Sorensen visited in Sutherland on S'indav. Joan is now living at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Miller, from Lop-an, and Mr. and Mrs. Frances Miller. Povd and Kent, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ivo Ogden. M-r. and Mrs. Frances Miller are parents of Dwight and Boyd and Kent are his brothers. They come from Panguitch. Grimshaw said wedding vows Saturday, March 23, in a ceremony at five o'clock at the ! home of parents of the biid; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Law, of Delta. Mr. Grimshaw is a son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Grimshaw, of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, Utah. Members of the Immediate families fam-ilies and a few close friends were present for the' ceremony, performed perform-ed by T. Clark Callister, of Fillmore, uncle of the bride's mother. The bride was lovely in a gown of aqua blue taffeta, with fitted bodice and full ballerina skirt. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. After a short honeymoon Mr. and Mrs. Grimshaw are returning to make a home in Milford for several months. employde for the winter. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Phil Larsen for their new baby. It was such a shock to Ted and Leatha Bennett, to have their new Pontiac smacked into, but they had it mended and Ted says its as good as new again. Ted was very fortunate that he did not have to be mended also, because it seems that Ted should have been driving the other fellow's car too but it is a little awkward to be in both cars at once so he had to suffer the consequences. The Relief Society annual pro- gram and banquet was presented in a very fine manner and every one enjoyed it greatly. Congratu lations to all who helped. Mr. Evan Skidmore has been a little under the weather for quite a while. They displayed some very outstanding work and talent. We hope they come again soon. Chill evaporated milk in freezer tray of refrigerator until ice crystals form around edges. Turn into chilled bowl and whip with rotary beater or high speed of electric mixer until milk is stiff. Elder Lynn is a returned miss ionary from South Africa and reported re-ported his missionary experiences and at fireside chat after meeting, he showed slide pictures of Africa and other interesting places, which was enjoyed 'by all the ward mem bers that chose to join fireside chat. Elder Walker is attending school at the BYU at present. Mr. and Mrs. Monan Lovell and sons spent the weekend from Ogden Og-den in Oak City. Also Mr. and Mrs Boyd (Rosalie) Call visited at her parents' home, Mr. and Mrs. Le- Roy Anderson, on Saturday and Sunday. They reside at Sunset. Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Olson and Mr. and Mrs, Merton Lovell visited from Provo, Mr. Walter Peterson is home with his family now, after working during the winter at Ely, Nevada. Mr. Reed Talbot was in Salt Lake and Provo two days last week, his brother Noel has been in the LDS Hospital the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Roper have sold their farm In Idaho and are movong back to Oak City. Mrs. Dorothy Roper Hall visited visit-ed the past week in Oak City from Idaho. Mrs. Merlene SchmuU of St. George, and children are here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lovell and her brother Bruce Lovell, Lov-ell, and family, she will stay a few weeks. Mrs. LuGean Lovell is improving im-proving a little each day, we are happy to report. Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lyman visited visit-ed overnight from St. George. They have been in St. George all winter and are now returning to their home at Clinton. Mrs. Nell Barlow is with her sister Lula Lovell, at present, she lives at Brigham City. Mohammed Beheshti and his bride, the former Merlene Crafts, received congratulations and best wishes at the reception that follow ed their wedding Friday, March 15. The couple said wedding vows in a ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Crafts, in the presence of members of the family and close friends. Ned Church, bishop of Delta First Ward, officiated. The reception to honor the couple cou-ple was hosted by the parents of ho bride in Delta First Ward recreation rec-reation hall, from nine until twelve o'clock. The bride was lovely in a wedding wed-ding gown of white lace and net, styled with fitted bodice and long tapered sleeves and full filmy skirt. Her wedding veil, shoulder length, was held by a jeweled band, and ghe carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Attendants to the bride were Mrs. Masser Movaghar, matron of honor, and Rosemary Foley, Mrs. Beth Tolbert, Virginia Allen and Sharon Reeve, cousin of the bride, Nasser Movaghar stood a best man for Mr, Eehenhtl. Jean Wllklns, cousin of the Vide, was In charge of the guest book. David Crafts was master of ceremonies cere-monies for the program. Donald Ray Western sang "Because", with piano accompaniment played by Ruth Talbot. Merna Western and Donald sang "True Love", and Miss Carol Dawn Sorenson sang "Always". "Al-ways". Mrs. Marie Merrill gave an original reading, dedicated to the bride and groom, who gave responses. re-sponses. Daughters of Pioneers of Fanny Cropper Camp met Thursday after noon at the home of Myrle Bennett. Ben-nett. The lesson was given by Myrtle Myr-tle Western. There were twelve ladies present. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Finlinson and family spent Saturday and Sunday visiting at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Clark 'Prisby and little son visited their parents, Mr. ind Mrs. Cloyd Talbot. It was a very fine program under the direction of their teacher, Brother Risenmay. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Allred and son Roger, spent Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder of Garrison visited at Deseret on Mon day with their son Owen, and Mr. and Mrs, Cleve Rowley, Paul Dewsnup, who Is attendeng the U. of U, Is home this week for spring vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Randel Cahoon are sporting a now 1057 Ford. Alice Kay Moody, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Moody, was chosen as the sponsor for the Arbor Ward. Our congratulations to these girls.
