Show Final Rites For Millard Mother Held Wednesday Mrs. Martha Ada Robison Hinckley, Hinck-ley, 83, wife of L. N. Hinckley, died at the afmily home in Sugar-ville Sugar-ville Sunday at 4 p. m. after a ling ering illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at the Berg Mortuary Mor-tuary in Provo, conducted by Bish-nn Bish-nn Harold Jensen, of Suearville ward. Burial was in the family plot in the Provo cemetery. Mrs. Hinckley was born Sept. 23, 1866, in Fillmore, a daughter of Joseph V. and Martha J. Olmstead Robison, Utah pioneers. Her early life was spent in Fillmore and she attended schools there. She was married to Lucian Noble Hinckley in the old Endowment House in Salt Lake City, on April 3, 1884, and for eight years the couple lived at Cove Fort, which was built by Mr. Hinckley's father Ira N. Hinckley, in 1864, to 1867. They later returned to Fillmore and lived there until 1898 when they moved to Provo. In 1927 they moved to Delta and have lived here since. Mr. Hinckley has always al-ways been engaged in agriculture and stock raising. They were the parents of eight children, five of whom survive. As a lifelong member of the LDS church, Mrs. Hinckley had served in various church organizations. She was a Relief Society teacher for a number of years in Provo Fourth ward. Her health had been poor of late years, so that she had been less active in church work. Mrs. Hinckley was a loving wife and mother, and was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends for her fine qualities of character. Their sympathy is with the bereaved bereav-ed family. ' ' Surviving are her husband, four : sons, Joseph R. Hinckley, Burbank, : Cal Ira N. Hinckley Boise, Ida.; George E. Hinckley Salt Lake City; and June Hinckley, Delta; a daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. J. A. Owens, Provo; 3 brothers, A. Q. Robison, Delta; P. H. Robison, Long Beach, Cal.; and Albert Robison Provo, and a sister sis-ter Mrs. Harrison Anderson Altad-ena, Altad-ena, Cal.; 19 grandchildren and 25 great - grandchildren. |
