Show . MEADOW. A. E. Cull, Chronicle Representative. An eleven pound boy waa born to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ames on Iec. 24th. John Stott of Cardston, Canada, Is here visiting relatives. David Duncan who has been employed em-ployed at Layton for the past year, Is here on business. Our old people's party was held last Thursday. The day and evening were spent In feasting, singing and dancing. The silver band furnished the music. All the married people Joined them In their dance which was the best of the season. Our newly married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Duncan were given a wedding wed-ding reception lust Friday by their parents. A grand ball was given In the evening. , Mr. and Mrs. John II. Itushnell have gone to Salt Ink for a short time. Mr. Alma Ileckstrand and Miss Clara Williamson went to Sa't Lake to attend the State Teacher's Institute. Mrs. Duncan Stewart has been confined con-fined to her room with a severe cold. Last Thursday a number of our young men were enjoying a good sleigh ride when the sleigh capsized, piling them all up, which resulted In Alonzo Duncan being compelled to limp a few days, but he Is allrlght now. Messrs. F. Karl Stott and Asael Fisher Fish-er left here Sunday to return to school. During the year 1910 there were twenty births, eight boys and twelve girls, who are all living. George E. Llt-tlcwood Llt-tlcwood (he first grandpa of 1910, Is also the last. There were four deaths during the year; two elderly people, one young man and a middle aged I.idy. We were not visited by any contagious diseases, while at present only one person Is confined to the house on account of 111 health. ' |
