Show V Popular Young Couple Joined In Marriage The marriage of two popular Milford young people took place November 30 in a chapel at the Rapid City army air base, South Dakota, when Miss Jeannette Col-born Col-born and First Lieutenant David E. Lewis were united in a double ring ceremony performed by Chaplain Chap-lain Reynolds C. Murdock. Chaplain Chap-lain Murdock, in a personal letter to the parents of the bride, states that the north chapel, where the ceremony took place, is a very beautiful place with an open Bible, cross, candle sticks and vases filled with cut flowers. At each side of the altar are a 7-point candlebrum and large palms, and appropriate music was rendered. For the ceremony, the bride wore a turquiose blue woolen suit with dark brown accessories. Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Mathew A. Mindura and Technical Tech-nical Sergeant Frank M. Cline acted as witnesses. Mrs. Lewis is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Colborn and was reared in Salt Lake City, where she graduated from West high school. Three years ago the family moved to Milford where she has taken her place as a popular member of the younger ' set. Lieutenant Lewis is the son of I Mr. and Mrs. Myron P. Lewis, ! formerly of Milford but now mak-i mak-i ing their home in Las Vegas, Ne-' Ne-' vada. He is a graduate of Milford high school and a former student at Branch college. Cedar City. A few months ago he completed a ! tour of combat duty as navigator 'of a B-17 with the Eighth air I force. He now is serving as navi-I navi-I gation instructor at the Rapid j City base, and the happy young I couple will make their home there. i |
