Show 'HARRY L. COON iDIES IN CALIFORNIA Harry L. Coon, 50, former Milford resident who had resided resid-ed in Compton, Calif., for the past 24 years, died in a Compton I hosoital on April 14th. . He was laid to rest in the In-giewood In-giewood Park cemetery, Compton, Comp-ton, following funeral services conducted by Ben Beatty, Compton Comp-ton Christian Science reader. Mr. Coon was born in Punx-fcutawney, Punx-fcutawney, Penna. Moving to Milford and later to California, the family became quite prominent promi-nent in the southern California city. Mr. Coon was president of the Pacific Crane and Rigging Company and vice-president of (he Belyea Truck Company at ! his death. His brother, D. M. j Coon, is a prominent Southern California realtor and past pres-ident pres-ident of the realty board in that city. Their father, the late Wade Coon, was a well-known figure in Compton civic affairs. Surviving besides his wife Mrs. Idonna W. Coon; are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Larson of Inglewood and Miss Donna Lee Coon of Compton; a son, Wade R. Coon; his mother, Mrs. Bess Coon, and two brothers, D. M Coon of Compton and Kimmell Coon of Milford. Mr. Coon was a member of Albert Pike Masonic lodge No 14 of Milford, the Jonathan Club ot Los Angeles and the Pacific Coast Club. |
