Show FOR FREE DELIfERY -d Service to be ; ih has fective Septra . i Washington, D. C, April 30. Postoffice Inspector F. C. Sharp, I who was detailed to make an investigation in-vestigation of the need for the estaDlishment of a frte delivery service at Logan, Utah, has made I his report to tne postoffice depart ment, that the same be established in that city. He recommended that two mounted letter carriers be allowed with horse hire. This is the only way the large territory can oe covered satisfactorily, otherwise three carriers will be necessary and that they could not handle the mail every Jay without with-out returning to tae office for a second load of mail. By this mounted, carrier system they would get through first delivery in time to make a second delivery of star route mail to the business section of the city. Twenty-two street letter boxes and five paper and package boxes are also recommended. re-commended. This service- will probably go into effect Sept.. 1. , |
